After The Shakeup

This was a little jam session that grew. The title comes from the earthquake around Christmas 2006, which was centred near Holywood, just to the north of Dumfries, where Mark lives.

The piece was actually played simultaneously in Dumfries, where Mark played guitar, and Edinburgh, where Noel played keyboards. The magic was provided by eJamming.com, which allowed them to synchronise their playing over the Internet and jam together. Both musicians had to use MIDI instruments for this piece but there have been great improvements in the eJamming system over the course of 2007 and we think we might be able to perform a live concert in this way. So the Arbelos world tour may not be too far away.
