Happy Christmas from Arbelos
Happy Christmas from Alex, Jenny, Mark and Noel. See you in the New Year!
This great old Christmas song is full of life and vibrancy -- how can it not be played this way? Some superb singing from Jenny, and the worst ever acoustic guitar solo you will ever hear -- thankfully it’s short, and it is Christmas! Watch out for the funky drumming and bass from Alex and Mark. The final song in our set at Brigend Theatre in Dumfries.
-Noel
Arbelos and Friends, live at the Brigend Theatre
On Saturday 12th December come along to the Brigend Theatre in Dumfries for a night of songs and stories. Featuring our good selves, with our new keyboards player Jenny Johnson and new percussionist Alex Cook (of Galloway Folk), and we are delighted to be sharing the bill with Cheryl Easton and with Ian Rennie who will be entertaining us with stories with a seasonal theme.
We’ll be playing some of our favourite songs from our albums, and performing our new Christmas song, When Snow Falls at Night, and we’ll also be taking an Arbelos look at some fine Winter season songs.
Tickets are available online here in our online shop, or you can go to Barnstorm Records, 128 Queensberry Street, in Dumfries and buy them in person.
We look forward to having you along on the night.

Arbelos at Satellite 2
The Arbelosites are proud to announce that we will be playing at Satellite 2.
Satellite 2 is a science fiction convention in Glasgow on the weekend of 25th-26th July, 2oo9. Satellite 2 also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Apollo Moon missions, and is timed just days after the 40 year marker since Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men on the moon.
Which, by a not unlikely coincidence, is the theme of our recently launched CD, Songs of Apollo’s Children. This is available from our web site shop, or can be downloaded from all the major download sites.
If you are going to the convention, look out for bassist Mark Toner, who will be there for the whole weekend. He’ll be the one at the Arbelos CD stall. Fellow Arbeloids, Noel and Ken will be there on the Sunday to perform at the Dead Laika Party.
To find out more about Satellite 2, visit the Satellite 2 web site.
