Arbelos play live 14th June, Edinburgh
Arbelos are playing our first Edinburgh gig on 14th June 2009, at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, Pleasance, as part of our very slow world tour. We’re playing a double header with our friends the Kitchen Stools, an Edinburgh band who play a great mix of songs in their own, unique style.
We are using this event as a launchpad for our new CD, Songs of Apollo’s Children, released to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo landings on the Moon.
The night starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £4 in advance, or £5 on the door. There is a bar. Space suits optional.
Apollo’s Children Live
The first event of the slowest world tour in history takes place on Saturday 4th April. In the Dumfries Museum, an old observatory, Arbelos will perform some songs from the new album and a couple of old favourites as part of the world-wide Yuri’s Night space party. The hosts are Dumfries Astronomy Society, who will also provide some activities, space talks and cake.
It all kicks off at 7pm and is entirely FREE. So come and see us now while our ticket price is still so affordable. Next stop will be Edinburgh and more details will follow here.
