I’ve just released a new ebook, New Myths and Legends of Edinburgh. I’ve lived in Edinburgh for nearly all of my adult life, and my fascination with the city continues. This is a collection of short tales based on Edinburgh, and some its quirky corners.

Arbelos are playing our first Edinburgh gig on 14th June 2009, at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, Pleasance, as part  of our very slow world tour. We’re playing a double header with our friends the Kitchen Stools, an Edinburgh band who play a great mix of songs in their own, unique style.

We are using this event as a launchpad for our new CD, Songs of Apollo’s Children, released to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo landings on the Moon.

The night starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £4 in advance, or £5 on the door. There is a bar. Space suits optional.
